30 Indian banks join RBI's UDGAM portal for centralized search of unclaimed deposits.
30 banks have joined the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) UDGAM portal, allowing customers to search for unclaimed deposits and accounts across multiple banks in a centralized manner. The portal covers 90% of unclaimed deposits in value terms within the Depositor Education and Awareness (DEA) Fund. Users must register with their name and mobile number to search for unclaimed deposits and access information on the claim/settlement process, with claims made directly to the respective banks.
