Nigeria's Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) is experiencing delays in paying some defunct Heritage Bank customers due to discrepancies in Bank Verification Number (BVN) linked alternate accounts. The NDIC has paid a substantial amount to depositors without these issues, but those with discrepancies are being asked to visit the NDIC website for verification. The process will also include depositors without BVN alternate accounts.
