61-year-old Wendy Francis was found dead, and her daughter, Stacey Hill, was found critically injured in their home on Haresfield Close, Worcester. A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remains in police custody. West Mercia Police have stated that the incident is isolated, and the community should not be alarmed, despite increased police presence during the investigation.
