A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman in her 40s was found dead with serious injuries in her home on Seeleys Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The woman was discovered by police officers at 6:20 am and declared dead at the scene. The Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit is investigating the isolated incident, which poses no wider risk to the public.
