200 farmers in a convoy of tractors and vehicles staged a protest in Canterbury, Kent, against foreign food imports and low prices paid by supermarkets for their goods. This follows a previous demonstration at Dover's port on February 9th. The British Retail Consortium stated that retailers are facing higher costs and attempting to lower prices, while Defra assured that British farmers are prioritized in any deals they negotiate.
