Lexington High School's boys basketball team won their first state championship title in 24 years, defeating Byrnes in the South Carolina Class 5A championship game with a score of 67-48. Texas signee Cam Scott scored 21 points, while Jaxon Prunty added 23, pushing the Wildcats to their third state title and first since 2000. The team completed the season with a 28-2 record and a 17-game winning streak.
