Dalton High School girls' basketball team lost to Midtown 73-63 in the state Final Four, ending their season at 21-10. The team faced a 16-0 run in the fourth quarter by Midtown, which proved too challenging to overcome. Despite senior Emma Hefner's team-high 22 points, the Dalton Catamounts couldn't maintain their lead and were unable to advance to the state championship.
