WDFW approves 11-day razor clam digging event.
Washington's Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has approved 11 days of coastal razor clam digging, starting March 7, extending until March 17 with morning low tides included, and an added weekend for Ocean Shores Razor Clam Festival.
Razor clams are confirmed safe to eat by Washington State Department of Health.
Diggers must verify beach openings, purchase applicable licenses on WDFW's website or from vendors, and adhere to a 15-clams daily limit.
