A New Orleans magician claimed that he was paid by a Democratic consultant to create a fake robocall using artificial intelligence (AI) to impersonate President Joe Biden. The consultant, Steve Kramer, allegedly paid the magician, Paul Carpenter, to create the AI-generated deepfake audio, which urged New Hampshire Democrats not to vote in their state's presidential primary.
