Armenia's Prime Minister suspended Armenia's participation in the CSTO.
Armenia's Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced that Yerevan has suspended its participation in the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) due to the perceived lack of support from Russia during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Pashinyan criticized Russia's position and expressed concern over the detention of Russian citizen Dmitry Setrakov in Armenia, calling it a "kidnapping." He also stated that maintaining a Russian military base in Armenia is not on the agenda and called peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan "unattainable."
