Armenia’s PM Pashinyan asserts non-alignment with Russia amid Ukraine fallout.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that his country is not an ally of Russia in its war against Ukraine. He clarified that none of the countries are targeted in their military cooperation initiatives. Pashinyan expressed his optimism that Azerbaijan, Armenia's neighbor and long-time competitor, will adhere to the terms of a lasting peace agreement. Regarding the peace agreement with Azerbaijan, Pashinyan noted that progress was made in 2023, but recent statements by President Ilham Aliyev have raised doubts about its finalization.
