Jeep recalls nearly 200,000 plug-in hybrid Wrangler and Grand Cherokee models due to a software issue that may disable the windshield defrost system, decreasing driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects 2021-2024 Wranglers and 2022-2024 Grand Cherokees with incorrectly programmed hybrid control processor software. Jeep will update the software to fix the issue.
