Gunmen kidnapped a corpse and family members conveying it from Lagos to Nsukka in Enugu State, demanding a N50 million ransom. The deceased, Mr Ugwuanyi Israel, was being taken to his community in Ameze Owerre, Umabor when the incident occurred at Umuoka in the Udi Local Government Area of Enugu on Sunday. The police have not commented on the incident.
