Police in Abuja arrested a kidnapper following a gunfight with a gang in the Kubwa area, recovering weapons and a stolen vehicle. FCT Police Commissioner Tunji Disu praised a resident for alerting authorities and urged vigilance among the public. In a separate incident in Enugu, two kidnappers were killed, and a victim was rescued during a police raid, which uncovered multiple firearms. The Enugu police are conducting a manhunt for remaining suspects linked to multiple kidnappings.
