The tomb of Neferhotep, a 18th Dynasty scribe of Amun, has been officially opened to tourists in Luxor, Egypt, after over two decades of restoration.
Located in the Al-Khokha area on Luxor's West Bank, the tomb features beautifully painted scenes and inscriptions and serves as a significant new tourist destination.
The restoration process began in 2000, with a team from Buenos Aires University responsible for recording and studying the tomb's epigraphic and archaeological aspects, while a German archaeological team cleaned and conserved the wall paintings.
