Australian Infrastructure department updates training programs, adding respectful workplace, unconscious bias, and cultural appreciation courses, in response to "hotties list" allegations.

The Australian Infrastructure department has updated its training programs for graduates following allegations of a "hotties list" involving the assessment of female colleagues by their perceived attractiveness. In response to these allegations, the department has introduced a number of new training programs, including respectful workplace programs, unconscious bias training, and cultural appreciation training. These courses are offered during the first weeks of the year-long graduate program for the 2024 cohort. The Minister for Infrastructure has been briefed on the steps taken to address the allegations, and all graduates from the 2023 cohort have continued on in the department.
