Texas A&M University to close Qatar campus.

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents has voted to close the university's Qatar campus, ending a 20-year collaboration and education and research partnership. The decision was made due to the escalating instability in the Middle East. Over the next four years, the Doha campus will be gradually wound down before officially closing. As of now, Texas A&M has over 1500 graduates from the Qatar campus and currently enrolls 730 students.
