Britain's Wagamama restaurant chain is planning to open 10 new branches in the UK, creating about 500 jobs. The company is responding to growing demand and the new restaurants will be in cities such as Glasgow, Epsom, Doncaster, Chatham, and Watford. Wagamama's sales have increased by over 10% in the half-year to August compared to the same period a year earlier. The chain was acquired by Apollo, a US private equity firm, in October.
