Wawa, a popular convenience store chain, plans to open 280 new stores across eight new states over the next decade, but not in New York due to a competitive market. Despite this, Hudson Valley residents have shown interest in a local Wawa store. Currently, New Jersey has the highest number of Wawa stores with 288, but Florida is rapidly expanding and is expected to surpass New Jersey soon.
