Sac County Board of Supervisors in Iowa increased the reward for missing trucker David Schultz.

The Sac County Board of Supervisors in Iowa has increased the reward for information leading to the whereabouts of missing trucker David Schultz to $25,000, using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. Schultz, a 53-year-old father of twin boys, vanished before Thanksgiving and his red Peterbilt semi was found parked on a road in Sac County, but he remains missing. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 provided $1.9 trillion in aid during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing cities and counties to use the funds for government services. Sac County received almost $1.9 million in ARP funds, with the reward money available through November due to regulations.
