According to Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry.biz, retailers in Europe have reportedly reduced their stock of physical Xbox games, as Xbox pushes towards a future prioritizing digital downloads and subscriptions via the Xbox Game Pass. This trend could be attributed to the fact that sales of physical Xbox games have reportedly taken a considerable nosedive, while the Xbox Series S console, which does not have the ability to play physical games, also lacks a disc drive.
