Jefferson County deputies catch jail escapee charged with murder.

Jefferson County authorities have apprehended the second of two prisoners who escaped from a local jail last week. Jatonia Bryant, a 23-year-old suspect in a capital murder case, was found by deputies on the east side of Pine Bluff on Monday. Bryant's arrest follows the capture of Noah Roush, a fellow escapee and suspect in a residential burglary, on Thursday. Both inmates had escaped from the W.C. "Dub" Brassel Detention Center, prompting a manhunt and heightened security measures in the area. An internal investigation is underway to determine how the escapees managed to evade capture for several days.
