Afghan earthquake survivors are struggling to rebuild their lives.

Three months after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan's west in October and killed thousands, survivors are struggling to rebuild their lives. Some families are sheltering in canvas-colored tents in the Zinda Jan district, the quake's epicenter in Herat province, where every home was destroyed. As winter conditions persist with the help of donations and the Islamic faith, they remain anxious about the future.
