Champagne sales in the House of Lords hit a five-year high at £90,000.

Champagne sales in the House of Lords reached their highest level in five years last year, with almost £90,000 worth of fizz sold. A total of 1,589 bottles were purchased at a cost of £88,987.90, slightly higher than the previous year. In 2020, COVID-19 sales were just £8,982, with 180 bottles sold. Last year's sales were higher than the previous year, with 1,441 bottles purchased for £69,988.80.
