EU suggests UK joins customs area for easier trade, as relations improve post-Brexit.

EU trade chief Maros Sefcovic suggested the UK could join a pan-European customs area, known as the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean (PEM) Convention, to ease trade. The UK is consulting businesses on the plan, which allows tariff-free trade with many countries. Sefcovic also mentioned reviewing the veterinary agreement and fisheries deal with the UK next year. UK-EU relations have reportedly improved since Brexit.
