Museums and philanthropists launch $12M relief fund to help LA artists hit by wildfires.
Major museums and philanthropists have launched a $12 million LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund to support artists affected by the California wildfires. Administered by the Center for Cultural Innovation, the fund will provide emergency grants to those who lost homes, studios, or livelihoods. Applications start on January 20. ASCAP also pledged $1 million to assist affected songwriters and composers.
