Semi-truck driver killed in crash with snowplow on I-39 near Beloit, blocking all lanes.

A 59-year-old semi-truck driver from Milwaukee died in a crash with a Rock County snowplow on southbound Interstate 39 near Beloit, Wisconsin. The accident occurred when the semi hit the rear of the plow truck, which was clearing snow from the median shoulder, causing the semi to jackknife and block all lanes. The plow truck driver was not injured but was taken to a hospital for evaluation. The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the incident. Traffic is being rerouted through State Highway 11 and County Highways G and BT, with the closure expected to affect the evening commute.
