London hosted a spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks display in 2024 to welcome 2025, attracting around 100,000 attendees. Despite adverse weather conditions leading to cancellations in Edinburgh and other UK cities, London's event, declared the biggest in Europe, featured over 12,000 fireworks and 420 lights. The Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, organized the 11-minute show, which included a diverse soundtrack and honored the London Eye's 25th birthday.
