Sauced Restaurant in Evansville battled a Christmas Day fire that took over two hours to extinguish.

A fire broke out at Sauced Restaurant in Evansville on Christmas Day at 4:47 p.m. The Evansville Fire Department initially tried to fight the fire inside but had to evacuate as it worsened. The fire became a second alarm after 40 minutes, with firefighters using exterior tactics for 30 minutes before re-entering. The fire was extinguished around 7:00 PM. The cause and extent of the damage are still unknown.
