On December 24, a 20-year-old North Platte man, Jackson Rodriguez, was arrested for reckless driving and evading arrest. Reports of a motorcyclist driving erratically and at high speeds prompted a police pursuit, which was discontinued for safety reasons. Rodriguez was charged with driving under suspension, willful reckless driving, flight to avoid arrest, and other traffic violations. He was jailed, and his motorcycle was impounded.
