Suspect broke into La Vergne Public Library using a rock, stayed overnight, and attempted a candy theft.

A suspect broke into the La Vergne Public Library in Tennessee on December 13th using a large rock. The individual, a white male in his 20s with a slim build, remained inside until 2 a.m. and later tried to steal candy at a 7/11 but was chased away. The library will reopen on December 16th. The La Vergne Police Department is seeking information and urges anyone with details to contact them or Rutherford County Crime Stoppers.
