India's minister announces completion of Delhi-Dehradun and Delhi-Mumbai expressways, slashing travel times.
India's Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the upcoming completion of the Delhi-Dehradun and Delhi-Mumbai expressways, set to significantly reduce travel times between these cities. The Delhi-Dehradun expressway, expected to be finished by January 2025, will cut travel time to about two hours, down from six. The Delhi-Mumbai expressway, projected to be completed in two months, will reduce travel time from 24 to 12 hours. Gadkari also highlighted efforts to reduce air pollution and road accidents.
