A motorcyclist died after reportedly running a red light and colliding with a car in north Phoenix.

A fatal motorcycle crash occurred in north Phoenix near the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport on Sunday at 2:45 pm. The incident happened at the intersection of 7th Street and Deer Valley Road, where the motorcyclist, 34-year-old Braiden Lawson, reportedly ran a red light and collided with a turning sedan. Lawson died from his injuries, while the car driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic remains restricted as the investigation continues.
