UK-based legal tech startup Lawhive, which uses AI to automate legal tasks and reduce costs by up to 50%, has secured $40 million in Series A funding. Led by Google Ventures and TQ Ventures, the funding will help expand its services in the US, aiming to make legal services more affordable and accessible. The startup's AI tool, "Lawrence," has passed part one of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination.
