Myanmar seized over 60 tons of illegal timber and arrested 17 people in a week-long crackdown.

Myanmar authorities confiscated over 60 tons of illegal timber from November 25 to December 1, including over 22 tons of teak and 33 tons of other types. The Forest Department seized 17 offenders and ten vehicles during the crackdown on illegal logging and trading. They are also committed to tree plantation projects.
