Egypt's Central Bank reports a significant rise in assets to EGP 6.213 trillion in October.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reported a rise in its total assets to EGP 6.213 trillion in October 2024, up from EGP 6.090 trillion the previous month. The bank's investments, contributions to international financial institutions, and gold balances all increased, along with net profits, which climbed to EGP 107.693 billion. The CBE's reserves stood at EGP 403.147 billion, with total equity at EGP 162.413 billion and total liabilities at EGP 6.050 trillion.
