UK plans harsher sanctions on employers exploiting foreign workers, extending bans to two years.

The UK government plans to impose stricter sanctions on employers exploiting foreign workers, especially in the social care sector. The government has already revoked about 450 sponsor licenses since July 2022 and aims to address exploitative practices affecting many migrant workers in low-paid, insecure jobs.
