Afghan teen refugee Nila Ibrahimi wins Peace Prize for advocating girls' education rights.

Nila Ibrahimi, a 17-year-old Afghan refugee living in Canada, won the International Children's Peace Prize for advocating girls' rights in Afghanistan. Her "IAmMySong" campaign pressured authorities to lift a ban on schoolgirls singing in public. Since the Taliban's return, girls over 12 can't attend school. Ibrahimi now uses her platform "Her Story" to raise awareness and support Afghan girls.
