Texas mother and partner arrested in New Mexico for kidnapping her five children; technology aided in their capture.

A 31-year-old Texas mother, Qwaunice Tippitt, and her partner, Charles Jones, 32, were arrested in New Mexico on November 16th for kidnapping her five children. New Mexico State Police used an Automatic License Plate Recognition system to track and locate them. The children were returned to Texas by Child Protective Services. Police Chief Troy Weisler emphasized the role of technology in aiding law enforcement.
