Rochester woman assaulted, car stolen by ride-sharing suspect; vehicle later recovered.
A 36-year-old woman from Brighton was assaulted and had her 2012 Kia Forte stolen by a male suspect who punched her in the face while she was giving him a ride. The vehicle was later found on Birr Street, and the woman, with minor injuries, was treated at Rochester General Hospital. Rochester Police Department is seeking any witnesses with information or video footage to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
