Priest stabbed during mass in Singapore; attacker charged, hero parishioners recognized.
Father Christopher Lee, a Catholic priest at St Joseph's Church in Singapore, has been discharged from the hospital after being stabbed during a mass on November 9. The attacker, Basnayake Keith Spencer, has been charged with causing grievous harm. Father Lee is now on medical leave to recover. The attacker was disarmed by two congregation members, Richard Tan and Damien Liew, who were later awarded for their quick intervention.
