Dotdash Meredith, the parent company of magazines like People and Entertainment Weekly, will lay off 53 employees, or 1.5% of its workforce, mainly affecting print staff. CEO Neil Vogel cited the challenging print advertising environment as the reason, despite the company's digital revenue increasing by 16% to $246 million in the third quarter.
