Chinese President Xi Jinping called for full efforts in treating the 43 severely injured from a car ramming incident in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, which killed 35 people. Xi demanded the perpetrator be punished under the law and urged improved risk prevention. Premier Li Qiang also stressed swift investigation and handling of the incident's aftermath. A central team was dispatched to oversee the case.
