A new international road transport service connecting Qingdao, China, and Bangkok, Thailand, was launched to facilitate transportation in the Great Mekong Subregion (GMS). A truck carrying agricultural products from Shandong departed Qingdao Port, traveling through Laos and covering 4,400 km in seven days. This service, exempt from customs duties and guarantees across GMS countries, aims to reduce costs and simplify customs procedures, benefiting businesses in China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
