A wildfire erupted late Friday night on Neversink Mountain in Reading, Pennsylvania, prompting evacuations for nearby residents. The fire began around 11:30 p.m. and led to temporary shelter being set up at Amanda E. Stout Elementary School. Firefighters, aided by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, worked to contain the blaze.
