Vishnuswaroop Shahi, suspect in the murder of Indian doctor Yogesh Chandra Paul, was arrested after a lengthy police chase.

Vishnuswaroop Shahi, the main suspect in the May murder of Indian doctor Yogesh Chandra Paul in Delhi, was arrested after a 1,600-kilometer police pursuit to the India-Nepal border. Shahi, who changed eight mobile phones and 20 SIM cards to evade capture, was allegedly informed by the doctor's domestic help about valuables in the home. Three others, including the helper, were also arrested. Shahi has a history of criminal activity and used multiple identities.
