Ithaca police investigate stabbing at Asteri Building, male victim in stable condition.

Ithaca police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning at the Asteri Building on East Green Street. A male victim was found with a chest wound at about 6 a.m. and is currently in stable condition after being transported to a trauma center. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and authorities are urging anyone with information to reach out to the Ithaca Police Department as the investigation continues.
