James Webb Space Telescope detects early galaxy's "inside-out" growth 700 million years post-Big Bang.

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has detected an "inside-out" growth of a galaxy just 700 million years after the Big Bang. This galaxy, 100 times smaller than the Milky Way, shows a dense star core with increasing star formation towards its outskirts. This unprecedented observation may enhance understanding of how galaxies evolve from gas clouds into complex structures. The findings were part of the JADES collaboration and published in Nature Astronomy.
