In a CBS "60 Minutes" interview, Vice President Kamala Harris claimed historic low unemployment under the Biden administration. However, the current rate of 4.1% is above historic lows of 2.5% and higher than the 3.5% rate under Trump. While immigration encounters have decreased since new asylum regulations, total encounters since 2021 exceed 8 million. Harris's claims about manufacturing jobs and abortion bans in southern states were also fact-checked and found to be exaggerated or inaccurate.
