A 60-year-old man in South Korea avoided drunk driving charges after drinking a full bottle of soju while pulled over by police on September 16th. The court could not establish his blood alcohol content (BAC) while driving, as he consumed the alcohol before a breathalyzer test. Consequently, the Daegu court found insufficient evidence to convict him, despite South Korean law penalizing a BAC of .03 or higher.
